Planning
The key to any successful project is thoughtful planning and attention to detail. To start the process, we suggest the following tasks:
- Carefully look at spaces in homes you visit…both new and old homes;
- Begin a digital and/or hard copy "idea file" by compiling photos and/or saving tear-sheets from kitchen design magazines of styling you both like AND dislike;
- Schedule an appointment with one of our designers to visit local kitchen showrooms to begin looking at fixtures and appliances as soon as possible; and
- Keep a running record of things that come to mind of what you love about your current space and list the things you can’t wait to add or change!
We want to help you prepare for your renovation project, so we are making the following informational resources available for your use in beginning to organize your thoughts and ideas. We suggest that you fill in the questionnaire(s) and bring them in with you when you visit us. They provide us with an idea of what your requirements and wishes are so that we may help you start that renovation of your dreams!
